MLK Breakfast

Heroic Productions was honored to partner with BI WORLDWIDE and their client, General Mills, for the 35th Annual MLK Breakfast at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

This powerful event celebrated Dr. King’s legacy and inspired action to carry it forward in our homes, communities, and across the globe. Proceeds from the breakfast supported the UNCF Twin Cities, helping local students of color pursue higher education and attend HBCUs.

This year’s breakfast brought together 2,300 attendees, including Governor Tim Walz, for an unforgettable morning. The three-time Grammy Award-winning Sounds of Blackness electrified the room with their performance, while journalist, NPR host, and author Michele Norris captivated the audience with her inspiring keynote.

To ensure the event truly shined—both literally and figuratively—our team provided six 20k laser projectors, delivering crystal-clear visuals for the massive audience. We also mic’d up the band and speakers for flawless sound and illuminated the space with vibrant blues and greens to match the event’s theme: ONE PEOPLE.
